After years of specialising in Heritage Lime Plastering, We’re now expanding into Italian surface designs, working with premium Italian materials & techniques developed through specialist Venetian plaster training

Introducing Venetian by Barnhouse Interiors

  • Venetian plaster is a decorative wall finish inspired by traditional Italian techniques using mineral-based materials to create depth, texture and movement within a surface.

  • After years specialising in heritage lime plastering, we wanted to expand into decorative finishes that still focus on craftsmanship, natural materials and hand-applied surfaces.

  • We trained with PaintTech Academy using premium Italian decorative systems developed by Valpaint Italy, combining modern decorative techniques with traditional plastering knowledge.

  • Planned finishes include polished Venetian plaster, textured lime surfaces, concrete effects, metallic finishes and bespoke feature walls.

  • The service is currently in development while we complete existing Heritage projects, create sample boards and completing showcase walls ahead of official launch.
